Middle warren near tall ships pub is normally nice, just seeing if there's any other takeaways to try for a change

Some takeaways just sound shit and cheap from their name. I always classed bambinos in this bracket so never used them. Along with chippizza and princess pizzas.

Kebabs from that place are rotten, the meat is disgusting, it's a good job as it's three minutes from the my door step my life expectancy would be greatly reduced if it was any good

Also they are now doing my take away pet hate 'no, no' Trying to knock out fish and chips as well. It's always that minging bright orange batter in those establishments as well. You're either a chippy or Pizza Shop. Anyone trying to do both should not have a licence to trade and be investigated.

Very true Chinese, kebabs/pizza and chippies should always be separate. If they cross over I never go to them places again.

The dirty bastards are even selling Pukka Pies, next to kebabs.

I don't want to revisit the rather murky waters of last week but it's the type of cross contamination that should lead to deportation. If you're going to live here at least respect our culture.

Al pizza in west view is owned by the same people as Bambinos.

Since they turned the one on Bishop Cuthbert from Pizzalicious to the dodgy chippy its properly shit.

Its garbish.

I mean a proper one on the quality level of that Chinese one at Teesside Park. Indians must out number chinese by at least 2:1 in this town now?

It all started when chippies started doing (completely indigestable) beefburgers and sausages. They've only themselves to blame now the others are nicking their business with completley indigestable fish and chips.

A half decent, half authentic Indian full stop would be a start. One not swimming with grease and that doesn't think Chicken Tikka should be bright red.

Plus these buffet places with the odd exception are normally absolutely disgusting. I don't really see the need for an all you can eat Indian when in most places a couple of times a week you can get 5 courses for less than an Ayrton Senna, plus after a normal Indian meal your movement is restricted for three days and 9 shits you're that full. How much more do you need to eat than that!?

I remember getting a Parmo from Joanna's before and was mortified when they served chippy chips with it, didn't seem right at all.

You won't find a nicer pizza in the town than a spicy meat pizza from fatsos. Also only £3.99 with chips and a can of pop if you collect.

Thing with an Indian is, I look forward to it so much that I always end up getting something I know I will like as dont want to risk getting stuck with something I wont eat. A good buffet would mean you could try dishes that you dont usually dare try.

Plus I always want about 5 starters (Yes i know you can get a mixed kebab or whatever) and id quite happily just eat bhagis, sheek kebabs, chicken tikka, boti kebab etc as a full meal if loads sat there.

Plus I always want at least 2 naan breads but always feel a right fat bastard ordering 2 so this would also counteract this

The chinese at tesside park is crap overpriced and their isnt no more on selection that you would get from another buffet. In fact last time i went the selection was piss poor.

I've been once and it was great, much better than that pet slaughterhouse that used to be on Park road.

God that place on Park Road was horrific.

That's what I think of when I think of 'buffet' type establishment. The Wok Inn is pretty crap now but at least you get the dishes served individually you just need to see past the questionable food hygiene record. Piling up shite on your plate..... Bork!!

If you go to Asian stores and supermarkets you can knock up better Chinese/South Asian food yourself. I get the Chinese curry pastes and Tom Yam soup mix and just add the meat/seafood and veg. Anyone could do it. Tastes exactly the same and you know for sure you're not eating that cat that went missing recently.

I used to go in the Park road one quite often when I was 14/15... Only because we used to get served there like.

I think i went once and in my coke was ice and instead of half a slice of lemon like most places, they gave a quarter of a slice. Tight bastards. Never went back because of that.

Guess they kept the tradition of Churchills that was there before them then. Everyone from Brinky went there and then to the Sports Bar and Odessa.

I used to describe myself as being a fat bastard trapped inside a thin person's body, and while I'm carrying a bit more timber than I should these days, I'm nowhere near as rotund as I should be.

The fact is, I absolutely love making a complete fucking pig of meself, especially after a few pints. You can't beat a decent Indian or Chinese buffet, particularly if it's a busy one where the food turns over quickly instead of sitting there for hours.

The key to getting your money's worth is to only put small amounts on your plate at a time. You see loads of people in the 'pile high club' get three quarters through their mountain and have to stop.

Also, sit quite far from the troughs so you have to walk a bit further, which seems to aid digestion, as well as increasing the time between gorging.

Aye well, you can let quite a lengthy quack go on a decent stroll which leaves a bit more room and stops complaints at your table.

I had a Chinese last night. No complaints here like.

Can I mention that Stages do a authentic Beef Madras for only 3.99, made by my own fair hands, fantastic fish and chips in a lager batter for 4.49 and we are approaching legend status for our home made pies, the pastry is lushness.

Taking bookings now as getting too busy, new female chef wearing black tights and knickers is helping no end
