Going to York from Hereford according to Sky Sports News. Ex-Darlo but a decent No 9. Might have been worth a punt.

I've known you're a dullard probable middle age man wind up merchant since you started posting.

Thanks for confirming you're a Loid one.

York have released Jason Walker, 27 goals in 81 games -could be useful in L2 for us?

I would expect Cooper to set up a decent scouting network and get to work straight away building a decent side.

Everything he/she had posted has been shouty nonsense.

Surely we can do better than someone who only ever really played without a lot of success in the Blue Square League?

I don't think being non plussed on us 'missing out' on someone who has just been released by Hereford is jumping on someone .

If Kirsty really is Kirsty then I apologise for that, the shouty nonsense comment I don't.

I'm certainly no Loid but how many Conference strikers have we seen score regularly before a League club took a punt on them - Mackail-Smith, George Boyd, Matt Tubbs, Paul Benson, McLean (Hull) whereas Pools have gone for Behan, Bjornson, Nish, Sperravick etc. I know who I would have preferred. Bowman would do a job for us. Mobile, good in the air and kicks with both feet. A good target man.

Kirsty really is kirsty, only she can accept your apoligy. Some posters on here not just you pj need to think what they say first. That why theirs a bit of friction im tired of it and so are others. People pouncing without thought gets on peoples tits.

Fair play for offering an apoligy.

The four you mentioned were transferred for a combined total of well over a million pounds.

Not released by Hereford.

I know pal but they'd been banging goals in regularly before they were snapped up. The point I am making is that you need to get in early. matt Tubbs scored dozens of goals for Salisbury as did Mickail Smith before league clubs eventually took a chance.

I don't get wound up because of my gender but I do think my posts are as reasonable as most other bunker followers.

But the clubs like Crawley and Peterborough didn't get in early they scouted good players and paid the going rate.

I seriously hope our ambition is a little bit higher than a team at botton end of the Blue Square's realesed list. Where have you ever see him play?

Bowman would be good for you lot it pains me to say. The boy improved dramatically in our relegation season and finished top scorer surrounded by youth(lots of them) and cart horses. Direct, fast and never gives up. Isn't that what cooper wants?

I saw him play for the loids against Gateshead. He didnt strike me as fast but looked useful in holding the ball up and linking attack and midfield.

Those players all went for large money due to them being in the non league England team (England C I think it was). Pools don't have that amount of money. And I think it was Mackail Smith who hardly played in the first season he signed for Peterborough, who were basically throwing money at players as Darragh MacAnthony had just took over.

We don't have that type of money and we can't sign a player who won't play much in his first season.

I saw him pre season in a friendly when we were on our hols in the Cotswolds. He scored against Gloucester City and looked a class act. My Dad always takes me to games when we are away and visiting family and when over in Manchester took me to the FA Cup match between FC of Manchester v Hereford at Bury's Gigg Lane. Bowman scored both goals and was a threat throughout.

On the basis that he scored in a shitty friendly and your dad told you he played well I think we should snap him up

Hey matey. I don't need me Dad to tell me who is a decent player and who isn't. As a youngun I remember Rickie Lambert playing for Bristol R at the Vic and new he was top notch...but again it was a couple of years before Southampton took a punt on him.

Wouldn't disagree. Don't rate Walton. Showed glimpes but have a feeling Coops and Higgy will bomb him out.

Is it against the law to go on holiday with your parents at 21? We have a great time. We always take in a few footy matches while me Mam goes shopping or sunbathes.

I think Kirsty has potential to be the next POK-esque member of the board.
