any one play on that site ?

I joined the other week and was messing about on a cash game earlier and lost my money and noticed a jackpot in the corner at £43,000 so i had a look at the jackpot tables

I joined a 50c/$1 table and my first hand i got 77 so i called it, the flop came 7D KD 4D

so i had 3 kind but was worried about the flush so put small bet in and it got called off one player, next card a 3H another small bet and then the river card

7 Spades fooking great 4 kind, called the pot about $9 and the other player calls

I win hands down and then a box pops up saying JACKPOT and $218.20 has been credited to my account sctatchinghead

I shit and got off the table

Whats that all about can anyone tell me coz i havnt got a clue :uhoh:

Verbal I always thought the jackpot on 888 was for someone getting quad 8's not quad 7's.

Everyhand you play that goes post flop a small percentage of the pot goes into a jackpot pool. Once someone gets the jackpot hand they win whateveres in it, and it goes back to zero.

There will be jackpots at each level you play and for each jackpot hand. The higher the level you play, the more there should be in each jackpot. I would imagine the 43k is the total pool across all levels but I dont play a lot of cash on 888, and I will probably play a lot less now Ive discovered I dont have a job.

I got a mini statement this morning and it said the balance on the current account was £4108.36. I'm assuming that should have a minus sign in front of it.

I hope youve claimed that to jsa? They might stop your cowie

I'm putting a claim in for a tax rebate mate. Just checked me P60, and despite being skint and jobless, I appear to have paid over 4 grand in tax.

That cant be right.

Your getting confused ya daft sod. Tax on betting got scrapped around two years ago now.

I think some people are slow to realise they've been put on ignore.
