have a new manager WITH his own number 2. So that puts an end to the theories of yes men in the jobs, unless of course those who kept saying that now believe we've appointed 2 new men to do the exact same job.

We now have to not only support Cooper and Hignett we need to support Hodcroft and Green to do that people need to buy season ticket(s) Not only that but perhaps with some of the money they've saved by buying them they could sign up for one of the other schemes. Maybe the goldmine lottery, it can be done on a direct debit, it putting money into the youth side and also gives those who do it the chance to win some money. Maybe a player sponsorship I sponsored Poole's boots (home and away) for the grand daughters last year cost me £60 it was money saved from the season ticket offer.

Maybe they've seen the moaning and groaning on this and other boards and listened. If they haven't read the boards they're still give what 99% of posters have wanted, come on those who can afford maybe the goldmine lottery each month give it some thought. I'm not getting into saying those who do are better fans than those who don't. I think you all know my views on that and that we're all the same it's our situations that are different. At least the lottery gives you chance getting something back. And I'm not expecting people to come on the boards saying they've done it or not doing it because money tight, I'm just saying maybe think about it. Or any other way that on offer.

I should say "hopefully" has put an end to what happened in the past with managers not being allowed to do their jobs without interference

Does it hell Bob. The fact that the discussions have taken so long demonstrates that at least Cooper had the balls to stand up and say its on my terms. I wouldn't be surprised if it was he who decided that Humphreys was leaving. That would be quite a nice irony; Humphreys gets rid of Cooper and Cooper gets rid of Humphreys. The second part is only speculation mind you.

It was a cosy little old boys club and its thankfully been torn apart. Time to move onwards and upwards.

How does gold line work bob?? Is it like pools on the move with agents collecting the coin?? Is it possible to open a direct debit?? Never looked into it before but is a good cause and poolies seem to be doing well.

I've just sent mine back to start the Gold line, £4.34 standing order a month.

There's a large portion of truth in what Mr Fetish says though.

Cheaper admission?? There you go, cheapest in the league.

Clueless Hughes gone? Bang, done.

Barron out?? He's gone.

Humphreys out?? He's toast.

New manager with own assistant?? Delivered.

Be careful what you wish for. It might happen.

And I'm told that no-one listens to the fans.

Please don't give me the shit about 'not soon enough' after the activity of the last THREE WEEKS.

Cue shouts of 'club man.'......

History is being rewritten.

These things are being put right, it hasn't been thus for some considerable time.

Yes basically and yes direct debit can be set up £4 and bit per month

Only the Americans re-write history.

Now, if it all falls flat on it's face, who can the Bunkerites bark at? Ken Laurel or Russ Hardy??

They did what you all asked for...they've called your bluff

Ante up lads..

In a roundabout way they've given a lot of fans 2 out of 3 of the last managerial teams.

(A) Brought back Neale Cooper

(B) Brought in new manager (Colin Cooper) and let him bring in his own number 2

Both (A) & (B) had (have) been shouted for.

If I lived closer to Hartlepool I'd get a season ticket. As it is I will be right behind Cooper and the lads next season. I will get to a couple of home games, and a few more away. I might even subscribe to pools world to keep up on the news.

A clear out was asked for and was given. Time to support the new guy and get behind the lads to try and lift them back into League 1.

The actions of the club are good enough to entice me back and fork out my 150 bar.

season ticket sales were headed for around 2 - 2500 mark tops. Now I think 3700 - 4000 is back on again

All we need now is some good football and results, to encourage everyone who buys one to actually turn up for every game, and help create the atmosphere we've been missing for a few years.

Well there appears to be a bit of a feel good factor about amongst the fans.

I forgot about Pools world being in among the offer(s). Every bit that goes into the club can help. From what been said already on this thread the thread is only showing that a lot of the apathy has gone and fans were already getting tickets etc. my original post reads like trying to teach your Gran to suck eggs for that I apologise just wanted to try get things bit more up beat and the answers on here seem to point in that direction without help from me.

Bob your like a pools puppet, only seem to post when something positive happens.

Yes the club have acted which is good too see, it still doesn't change the fact there actions or Inactions led to the relegation in the first place.

Anyway onwards n upwards.

I will be renewing, probably would of no matter what the outcome but I've seen enough to convince me that there is reason to be optimistic. Lets see what the next few weeks bring in terms of personnel coming in.

I'm also now renewing. Didn't agree with horwood or monkhouse but fair play to laurel and hardy on everything else

Want me to find posts from me speaking out against them. I'm sure I can. Including against them during the relegation last season.

I'm not just not one who sticks to pro/against depending on what happening. Some stay positive all the same others stay negative. Today we got a new management team.My original post was neither positive or negative it was a post in response to many on here and other boards who stated a number of things would only make them renew season tickets. Most of those so called obstacles ...Barron/ Humphries out new man with his own number 2 in have now been addressed. But feel free to point out in my original post any positivity, I repeat it was directed to fans to support the club as most had what they wanted.

I also think Hughes deserved a bit longer.

Although I agree with most of what you say Bob, the club ain't getting my £150 until they make 2 or 3 decent signings that would demonstrate that this really is a fresh start and IOR are serious about stopping the rot and launching an immediate return to L1. We've listened to and swallowed the talk by the last 3 or 4 'managers' - so please, no more talk - lets see some action.

That could be chancy Mr Smokin' as Cooper says in his interview that sometimes new players are last minute additions, adding 'it's not perfect, but that's just football.'

So if you hang on you might end up paying on the gate.

No chance pal, if I'm not 'persuaded' to purchase an st prior to the absolute deadline day then I can guarantee that I won't be darkening the Vic at all during 2013/14 - regardless of results. I can certainly live without Pools these days - but can they survive without me and hundreds of other similar-minded current st holders?

How do you know they are 2 or 3 decent signings before you've them play?

I thought we'd done that last summer!

Only half a clear out. Unless Colin Cooper wanted them he's got Collins and Monkhouse and has lost Horwood before he's taken the job.
