I'm convinced that darlow fans sing pretty much nowt but anti Pools songs. I've been to the odd darlo game over the years - away at Orient about 5 or so years ago and away at Barnet when both teams were in the conference, and the only singing was anti Pools songs.

I remember thinking how really tedious it was and in no way supporting the team. Strange, obsessed people.

The DVD picks up the darlow fans singing anti pools songs all the time they were singing. Including something about Killing Pools fans. Now I like Sarf, but he really has picked a strange fookin bunch to spend his saturdays with.
He may be an undercover social anthropologist studying them

.... mind you, we had them singing the old 'darlo ran away' hardy annual in the Town End during the Accrington match...Why? Is it some sort of Tourettes type involuntary spasm... ?

it's a sort of 'comfort blanket' to them....but even 'comfort blankets' have to be left behind sometime.... quicker the better for that particular one.

In fact it's just plain embarassing... how many years have the loids been running for, they must be far enough away by now.

I was in the Darlo end when we drew 1-1 on Easter Monday when Tommy scored infront of the Tin Shed. I remember stating at the time about all the anti Pools stuff that was sung, yet we're the ones that are obsessed with them

And how many of them are old enough to remember pools playing Darlow on Boxing day?

I hate those songs. I bet the players do as well.

23 seasons since we last played them on Boxing Day!!

Brian Honour was playing for them, and we had an ex England International playing for us
