when using a disposable razor, always remove the plastic cover otherwise you will get a less than perfect shave.

One genuine Grand National Tip....

Unless you're going to the meeting itself, avoid the M57 like the plague, and Switch Island in particular. Also, avoid the centre of Liverpool in the evening as it will be full of people who've been to Aintree.

How's the new Switch Island look? It's gotta be better.

And that Asda nearby, it's so posh it only takes credit cards at the petrol pumps. Or is it because it gets robbed a lot? confised

And you know that pub on the right, when you drive into Maghull? I've been in there, but didn't have a Monkeyhangaz CD.

the pub is called The Alt

Croxteth.... great fun, someone got murdered down the road two years ago and someone else got shot by the shops!

Marginally, although the first time I went across it I ended up going right the way around it.... the M57 now opens up to about 6 lanes when you reach it which at least makes it a little less prone to queueing. The petrol station probably went that way because it means they can open it 24 hours without needing staff....

You have to watch them round here, they go round in vicious groups (Precincts) and can empty your wallet, make you fat, and leave you sunburnt if there's a "Tanning Salon" with them....

There are gangs, the local one is the Croxteth Crew, they have a sort of running graffiti feud with their counterparts in Norris Green down the road. Norris Green is 'orrible, one guy I knew got beaten up in a chip shop there for no apparent reason and last week a young (ie under 10) kid apparently stabbed a woman with a knife because she was arguing with his mum....

Wayne Rooney's from Norris Green. His other half is from round here as well and has been known to drop into the local bakery for a pasty. Rumour has it they're getting married in a church down the road too. To be fair to her, the big cake from her birthday bash also got sent to Alder Hey Hospital so good for her....
