Oh aye.

It was VERY VERY noisy here in China when the MK match finally finished, maybe ten minutes after ours and drink was taken.

So maybe it was just the black cloud hanging over your noggin?? Sounded noisy on Poolsworld like. :roll:

Maybe the crowds like the team, physically knackered!! They've kept a hell of a pace up for a long long time and the cracks are showing a bit. Like Richie Barker, he can't take a sustained battering like he does week in week out and not show signs of tiredness. James Brown gets lumps kicked out of him as well, so does Monkey.

Maybe the crowds getting success fatigue. :wink:

i think people were a bit edgy yesterday, understandably. theres a big difference though between being nervous and being miserable. pools have a history of falling at the final hurdle. i want to be optimistic but theres a large part of my brain that keeps telling me :

stop being stupid. they are not going to win the league. they are going to make you think they are going to win the league and then its all gonna go horribly tits up at the last minute and you are going to blub like a baby. again.

And that's all that matters. Now the shackles are off watch 'em go!! That 'p' next to your name is like a twelfth man, Joel Porter is back, Willie Bolands back, Walsall and Swindon can still be caught, and of course one plays the other in three weeks and who knows what might be riding on that??

I know one thing that won't........ :wink:

Thats the impression I got yesterday.

Yes it was nervy. Very Nervy.

But we won. And are up.

And to think were we were on the 17th of November, its a remarkable achievement.

We have never pulled away from Walsall, its not like the Rushden season.

It is a 3 horse race now, with us and walsall favourites.

But its never been in the bag.

So celebrate it if we win it, but celebrate anyway.

aye since we went top we've took 17 from 8 games and they've took 18 from 8

The atmosphere was poor yesterday, the (whats going on at Manure by the way 5-0!) 150 Accrington fans outsong us really.
There was also a lot of moaning around me along the lines of "we'll get gubbed by Wycome next week" and "Humphreys you've done nowt all game" stpid

.......frustrating......I think we've been spoilt a bit for the last few months.
Regardless of what happens in the next few games, this is a team I will tell my Kids and Grandchildren about.
