What the fuck "nebu"?

Is it spicy?

Only been open a few months, but, already changed its name. Suppose there may be problems with Marina Spice, considering there is another Indian called Spices, less than 50 yards away... They are based in the old WestView Projects unit. Never had a look at the menu, but, not surprised if it is indeed expensive as it has always been dead any time I've walked passed it.

If anyone gets the chance you should try Mamtas. I've had a couple of takeaways from them lately and it's head and shoulders above anything I've had in the town. Most other Indians turn out the bog standard crap that you can get from a supermarket, theirs is freshly cooked and tasty as feck.

try walking round the back of the dilshad next time your there? Bet you dont go again. The grease hanging on the windows and doors is enough to do john travoltas hair.

The kitchen is minging too. Delivered beer there and when they opened the back door there was frozen chicken being defrosted in boiling water, veg on the floor - which was moved to the side by the chef's feet to allow me to roll the keg through.

Not for me thanks

Im well aware of the condition aye, but sadly the cleanliest places dont always produce the tastiest food and vice versa.

Can't beat the thali, 2 starters, 3 mains, rice, naan, poppadoms all arrive together for about £13

My wife & I go away every few months for a few days break & we nearly always have an Indian meal one of the nights we are away & so far we have yet to find anywhere that compares for value, choice of meals or taste to the Dilshad. This includes Brick Lane in London's East End, Edinburgh, Manchester & Sheffield!!

Muttley man, you are confusing pub fish and chips with real fish and chips.
A slice of lemon, that's OK, I can ignore it; but Tartare Sauce... :angry-screaming:

Me and Mrs QK went last night for the happy hour. Very good. Thai food lighter and more subtley spiced than your average Chinese. Recommend to anyone.

You've got to try Mamtas then Aido. I've been going to an Indian restaurant in Aberdeen called Shri Beemas and their food is the best I've ever had, Mamtas runs it a close second though. Look at the reviews on trip advisor and other sites and they are all giving it 5 stars.
