Somebody brought me six picnic pork pies from Marksies in Hong Kong.

Six bites later they were gone.

Minced beef, chicken and mushroom with short pastry, aye, Mr Compo. Pork pies are water pastry though and she hasn't has a bash at that yet. A mate is bringing me a family size one from the U in a week or so, so I'll get her to have a go then.

Yes mate, and damn decent they were, but we've only got a small electric oven, I can't get a pud tray and they didn't rise to the height we're used to. She found them a bit tasteless but I enjoyed them.
