I scored in the town end after 16 seconds or something.
Went up for a header, got a push and it bounced in off my shoulder.
Hardly the goal I dreamed about but still...won 4-1 or something.
Played a Hartlepool Mail team in about 1990 raising money for an automatic wheelchair for Oggy's sister
It was recorded on video by my mate Garrards dad and granda
The commentary to my goal goes something like this:
Aw bloody hell its gone in
Who scored that, our Garrard?
Nah, course he didnt, it was our Garrard who took the free kick
Aw right, who scored it then?
Dunno

I have ran on it, in the pouring rain at the end of a 10 mile run, and a Half Marathon, when I finished with my fastest ever time for the 13.1 mile distance. 1:29:54 if your interested

Took a penalty in front of the rink end, and scored.

1963 Junior Schools Cup Final !!!!!

Golden Flatts 2 St. Teresa's 1 (aet)

Wind took my cross straight in for the winner(Town End), they used to narrow the pitch by marking out new sidelines in sand which were rubbed out at the end of the match for the Senior Cup Final that followed.

Played in a charity match once. I played for the Jacksons Arms against team (who I can't remember) who were a bit better than us. We had Brian Honour playing part of the match for us. I was sub and we didn't have enough shirts so I had to wear the one Brian had worn :-) I got about ten minutes and touched the ball once. I was also flagged offside when I would have been on goal - it was a VERY bad decision by the lino!
