Obviously I'm a new boy- only been watching Pools for around 12 years now but this has to be the worst period I've witnessed- never known a team capitulate as easy as this ?? These are a spineless and gutless team-we go a goal down thats it- not one individual out there todat showed any great fight-we lack characters out there. Where is the desire? the fight? the battle?

Personally I'm very disppointed in Hartley-I thought with the captains band on he'd have given out some stick-Sir Ritchie-who looks past it well and truly. I'd hang my head in shame after that second half. At least Hughes can assess Pools at it's worst-Coventry looked poor but confident once they saw how much ball we showed them- by my reckoning we need 5 players brought in at least just to shore up this shower of shite- I almost wish we had Boydie, Larkin, James Brown just for some options-even Michael Mackay lacked much real ability at this level but put in 100% Who today could say they sweated blood for the team and showed a pair of balls-we flattered a side who will be likely in the bottom half all year and should be bloody ashamed of representing Hartlepool Utd.

In 12 years this is the worst performing side we've had.

But struggling in L1 isn't as bad as struggling in L2 and we have some capable players in this squad.

How can two halves of a football match be so different? First half I thought we did ok, second half? Well, where do you start?

What was the first half team talk?

This bunch would be struggling in L2- who else have Chesterfield beaten 6-1 this year?

I enjoyed Coopers first spell but I think we were most exciting during Danny Wilson's tenure- two or three down-back in score four-seems so far away now!

First half we weren't any better than second half. Coventry just took 45 minutes to realise how easy it would be to score

Well were 1 winless game from equaling the club record of 18 games without a win so judging on that evidence they are clearly 1 of the worst sides assembled. We actually have players on the bench who could make a difference and hopefully in the coming games these players will be tried from the start. Notably wyck baldwin and Luscombe
