I was only trying to help. If Salty eats less salt he won't die. It is all in his hands.

I remeber Salty forgetting his spoon and eating his yoghourt with a KP skip...............

Something resembling this happened anyway.
And I think I've spelt yoghourt wrong.

At the Samuel Pepys museum in London they have lists of household members with their dates of birth/death and also their causes of death. In the 'causes of death column' there're a range of things, cholera, typhoid or whatever, until you get to one poor bloke who died of 'teeth'

Surely this bread debate is a matter of horses for courses?
Bacon - white (little bit of red sauce)
Sausage - brown or wholemeal (fried onions, little bit of brown sauce)
Peanut butter - white, toasted
jam - white
marmalade - brown or wholemeal
marmite - either
beans - brown or wholemeal, toasted
Pate - brown
cheese - either
Ham - white preferably
With soup - brown or white garlic bread
corn beef - white
etc etc

However unless you're Mrs Sparks, you wouldn't have such a wide selection of comestibles available in yer abode would you surely?? Unless you've got a breadbin the size of a Biffa waste skip?? confised

I dont even have a breadbin.
I would rather just eat brown or wholemeal for health's sake but cant resist white for peanut butter or bacon sarnies. Having said that we eat a lot of bread in our family as the 3 year old and one year old would live on it if they could.

ON REFLECTION...my gran used to fry everything in beef dripping, did all her own baking and the diet she fed us on would give the old lentil munches the frothing vapours ..... but, no processed foods, no sweets except as treats, no soft drinks in fact no shit food, plus she didn't drink or smoke, died when she was 92 and active all her life. Granda could only make 82.......

Whilst all of the aforementioned breads have their own merits, except white which is cack, i must say i have a particular liking for Morrison's Tiger bread which is available in baguette, roll, and batch loaf sizes. CHECK IT OUT Y'ALL!
