I'm going to be optimistic and say 2-1 Pools.

I really hope we can put together a few good moves and get the fans rocking. If not, this could descend into quite a frustrating season for all involved.

Don't ask me where our two goals are coming from though, your guess is as good as mine!

Cooper quite obviously thinks the squad is a s weak as piss, and I suspect the senior players do as well.

So, even though we can turn out a reasonably strong first 11, they are under pressure from the off.

If we dont get an early goal, panic will set in, and we have nowt to bring on to change things.

On that basis, I am having two go's. We will either win 2-0, or lose 2-0.

I can do that for nowt on a saturday morning watching the over 40's.

Scunny's golden days are over. Mind you I have loved to be in their place for their 2nd season in the Championship (the one where they weren't the division's whipping boys).

One-Nowt to Pools.

Is this a Pools message board or just a place people can visit to slag off the team
Have no problem with people's opinions when they actually go to the game but honestly.....

I fancy a good win today, not going to commit to a score but hoping for a few goals.

1-0 pools with a stunning volley from the now toned luscombe

Either that or 4-3 Howard, James, luscombe, Sweeney

Let's be honest...this is going to be a slogfest between two low morale teams whose biggest opponents this year are going to be inside their own heads.

Scunthorpe have been appalling since the start of the season and have won 2 league games in their last 16

We all know how we have been playing and we've won 2 league games in the last 15.

This will be a merciless game.

I agree. Unless someone scores reasonably early, and the other team has to chase the game a bit, it could turn out to be one boring afternoon.
