Red Mini 1000 1977 Reg

A heap of pure shite!

Ran so badly you had to pop the clutch to stop the engine from overrunning

It had great wheels and tyres though, but one day some toerag nicked them, the plugs, points and distributor cap, along with the radio and ashtrays

I wouldnt mind but I'd only popped down to the MillHouse for a few jars! rage

happy days though we were poor......

note the painted on vinyl roof, real cool that was.......and of course the compulsory names in the windscreen........and the rusted wing body filler.....it also had no clutch so did 0-60 in 25miles or 50min which ever came first........

There's a fella I used to work with who drives an old Ford Cortina that's not too disimilar to that.

As I've said before, I'm still driving my first car. Bloody didn't start this morning so I'm on the bike; I've no idea how it's going to get me up the motorway on Friday?

1960 Austin A40 Farina - think it cost £115. I'd just started work and borrowed the money from my parents - I think I still owe them some of it. :uhoh:
