"There will be no Hartlepool United in ten years time"
"The Mill House project will never go ahead"
" Gus Robinsons should never have been given the contract"
They (Gus Robinsons) got it because no one else wanted it"

Newcastle United are the only team in the North East

Then
What do you do love? ( to the missus)
Nurse
A&E?
No It doesnt exist
you at the Hospital?
No, Not any more
Blame the government
(our lass) you shut it down)
Where you a nurse at then?
One life
is that A&E
etc.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear oh dear... frightening

Now if you want to challenge me on any of this you can, absolutely without question. Or we can have a quiz to guess which councillor or ex councillor whatever he is these days said this.

That's part of the reality I'm afraid.
Whereas I think the Mill house project is a fantastic regeneration idea for the area and I'm all for it, I also think that the Football Club should go it's own way with regard to the ground itself and the bit of land attached.
I think IOR should make an offer to the council which it can't refuse or forget about it and let's rid ourselves of these people as much as we can.
Some councillors are wallowing in the limelight, using the opportunity to flex their muscles, spout their own agenda and philosophy whilst ignoring the wishes of the majority of residents.
Bite the Bullet Ken, make an offer they can't refuse and be rid of them.

Isn't it quite simple? IOR made a 250k ish offer a couple of years ago. Accept it and get on with it instead of labouring on with pie in the sky ideas about regeneration. Regenerating an area is entirely down to the council. They won't of course because the self serving muppets you keep voting in are clueless.

That transport interchange is the biggest waste of money I've seen

I'm yet to see it used to be honest. Just looks empty every time I pass it.

If IOR went to the HBC with a bid of 100k for the ground the HBC would accept IMO.
Chipster makes a great point about the 5million short fall.
Robinsons did get the gig because no one else wanted it.
Its not fair to blame the council for everything. At every open meeting held there was no rep from camarons. the college of FE or the art College so were all the partner united behind the project.

Hey, that's our super-duper transport hub you're referring to there!!

It goes to Easington and everything.

no HUFC in 10 years? What a twonk THAT COUNCILLOR IS!! No matter what it takes, there will ALWAYS be a HUFC!!!! The fans will have a club, no matter what league it is in, even if it is the Unibond Premier, or a new Northern division 2 or 3!!!!!

If that means league one won't exist in its current format I could believe it, but never HUFC going bang!!!
Cos all the other teams would be in the same boat, and fans aren#t going to stop wanting to watch THEIR team across the bottom 2 divisions!!!!
