Been reading in the paper today about the poor woman, 48 years of pain and hurt not knowing where her son has been dumped and pleading and begging that piece of shit to tell her

He should have been made to dig that moor by hand for the last 48 years everyday of the week every week of the year from first thing in the morning till last thing at night untill he found the poor kids remains

And fook his human rights because he doesnt deserve any rights, he is not a human

Capital Punishment!!

Sorry, it was meant to imply in cases like Brady and Hindley they should have faced capital punishment at the end of their trial.
Unfortunately, it was abolished just the year before.. Apart of course for Treason and Piracy!!

Surely if capital punishment was still around then she defiantly would have had any hope of finding her son.

Thing is though, where you have a legal system that will put these people against a wall, you get these 'barbaric' 'medieval' reactions.

Where I live it's simple. You bring in more than 50g of smack, you'll get shot.

Kill someone, you'll get shot.

Force anyone into prostitution, you'll probably get shot. If they're under age you will get shot.

Meddle with kids, you'll get shot.

I remember when I first started to travel a bit and when I walked through immigration in Brunei, there was a big sign on the wall that said 'If you bring drugs into Brunei, the likely penalty is execution.'

Then you get these groups that protest about execution, and fair enough, it didn't work in England because the evidence was sometimes doctored.

Really you have to work out whether it's better to ship out than spend your life in jail on bent evidence.

Whenever anyone starts a thread that advocates the state deciding who should die for whatever reason, it always brings this to mind.

First they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.

Everyone can make a case for murderers/drug smugglers/child molestors/tax dodgers being shot/hung/guillotined/electrocuted/given a lethal injection or whatever else you can come up with. But at the end of the day it's one man killing another man, and using the excuse of the state as an reason for doing it. Maybe I'm a little simplistic, but I work on the idea of two wrongs don't make a right.

Well I'm not an advocate and I'm not anti- either. I'm just saying that if that's the law where you live you'd better take notice or risk your life. I don't think it's a deterrent, some people will just plough on regardless. Crimes of passion are one thing but flouting the drug laws, for instance, out in the East is just plain stupid.

If I lived in China I wouldn't be out on the streets airing my views, like you I would live with the situation. As for people stupid enough to try and smuggle drugs into a country which openly has a death penalty as a detterent, I wouldn't be campaigning on their behalf. But regardless, I still think the death penalty is wrong.

West ,Shipley,Brady,Huntley etc have all wanted to die..Is/was the rope the easy way out for them .

There's people who have psychopathic tendencies though I'm unsure if Brady falls into that category.
To me though theirs people like Brady, Huntly and Black who should be hung drawn and quartered no matter what psychotic illness they are suffering from!

If they desire to face the death penalty then let them have it though it shouldn't be about choice.
Child killers should be executed where there is overwhelming evidence.
Saves the state a lot of money and more importantly it spares the family any more anguish every time their see their names in the newspaper!

The decision is, really, do you try and learn from these people or do you shoot 'em?? Find out what the motives are, why they formed this behaviour pattern and how do you head them off at the pass.

I guess there's only 10% of them caught as a totally uninformed guess and as primitive as it may be, these people are executed here. Then again, the population is so huge that they can't make decisions on the same scale as anywhere else. I'm not an apologist but they can't possibly analyse that many people.
