new series started last week clappp Jimmy McGovern is a total genius IMO.

Sean Bean was the main character in this weeks story and played a tranny, truely gripping stuff. I wonder if any on here watched it and thought the story a little 'too close to home'

Been meaning to watch that on catch up you've just reminded me about it, Thanks

I like all his stuff i thought the street was great tv.

Sean Bean though i cant make my mind up about him he acts just the same in everything he is in, watched a decent film with him in the other day called Cleanskin, worth a watch

The street was great, the snooker ball story with Timothy Spall

Bean really shows what a good actor he is in the Tranny role although I agree, he's played in some dross aswell over the years.

Cleanskin is on my radar when it is free on skymovies, not that i'm tight bbolt

A tranny came in the cafe on weds, 6ft tall, size 12 stilletos and hands like a navvy, dressed in a black girlie twin set, came up to the counter and in a gruff voice, asked for 3 coffees, how I kept my face straight is beyond me, the 2 lads in the kitchen had to hide as they were in bits

Then again I did watch it in between two excellent episodes of Wallander.

One day someone on here may finally talk to poor Mr Fireball about Wallander, he keeps throwing the line out but no Swedish crime fans seem to be biting.

I think I must have been imagining them. Very odd.

Sounds like I need a Nordic detective on the case.

I'll call Sarah Lund.

Wallander is an excellent cop series. Much prefer Krister Henricksen than the other guy that played him. Kenneth Branagh isn't a patch on the guy above. The actress that played his daughter killed herself.
