No good the effort if we're not getting the goals!!
It's only early days but if we're struggling for goals after the first half a dozen games then Nish should be given a chance.
He should also be one of the first to make the bench tomorrow!

Whoever is playing get ready for the long ball.

Apparently having seen us taken apart with pass and move football by a team with a fluid formation and quick mobile players (ps u don't need to be a big lump to be good in the air Crewe's little lads won plenty of ball against Hartley and Collins) Cooper has decided we are going to go more long ball into Steve Howard from now.

And hopefully that's what we'll find out in the first half a dozen games!

I wouldnt know how good Nish is in the air cos Ive never seen him make a proper attempt to win the ball
He goes in for headers the same way Bjornsson did, ie jump 2 inches off the ground while lowering your head so the centre half can easily win the ball from behind without having to make too much physical contact.

Such hatred of one player. Unbelievable.

birthmark had made his mind up in pre-season and was singing songs about him 3 games in.

Cant really count his opinion.

Its hardly hatred talking about his lack of ability to win headers.

I see this thread has turned into people telling us how shit they think Nish is and what he can't do.

How refreshing to read, I wish something similar had been said on here before......

While I'm at £25 to sit at the Vic is a disgrace, Jordan Mellish and Rochdale.

I know people don't have a very high opinion of the SPL, but Nish is equal eighth top scorer in that division, and is 2nd highest scorer, behind by 1 goal, as a player who has scored his goals without playing any of his games for one of the Glasgow Giants. Surely says something about his ability to score goals?

I think it shows he's nowhere near as bad as some people make out, I find it baffling how people have a strong opinion either way on a lad who's started only 13 games for Pools. It's ridiculous.

It would be great to see Nish show the doubters what he can do and score some goals.
Unfortunately since wadsworth left we cant seem to get him onto the pitch.

I realise you said that half jokingly, but I'm sure two minutes thought will reveal to anyone the flawed logic therein.
Nish wasn't the only one playing against jock keepers.

However you want to twist it, the top scorers in Scotland when transferred to an English club, somehow stop the rate at which they had previously, using scientific research, it can be written that jock keepers are in fact shite! :ugeek:
