Back down to earth with a bang. Cant understand how Cooper saw this as his strongest side with Monkhouse contributing very little in pre-season and Luke James a shadow of his former self. Would have been much better with Luscombe on the left and Poole up front with Fletcher. Might have to find a slot for Murray to give the defence some cover

Who is this Fletcher guy? is it Steven Fletcher Sunderland are trying to pay wolves 12 million for? is it Steve Fletcher from Bourenmouth or is it a comment from somebody who doesn't know their arse from their elbow?? Steve Howard perhaps with Poole up front.

Its one game but personally we need to get striker and a left winger in smartish-our weaknesses have been exposed!!

Maybe it was Karl Fletcher, former Harchester United striker.

Apart from the Fletcher comment I think he makes fair points.

James, if we are being honest isnt looking as promising as he was when he initially broke into the team and I think a lot of people would be more inclined to play Poole there.

Monkhouse just doesnt do the job. Cooper presumably sees this. I agree with Loyal Blue. It would be worth trying horwood on the left wing. Holden looks a better left back (defensively) than Horwood.
