Did anybody honestly expect a result today. It had defeat written all over it.

At least its only the league cup anyway. 14 minutes into the season and it already time to concentrate on the league

No need to panic. We scored two goals pre-season against premiership opposition remember!

Good job we were seeded. No telling who we'd have got.

this league has a lot more strength in depth this year.
None of the promoted teams will be struggling, Crewe are actually a decent outside bet for the playoffs.

Survival is success for us this year, not pessimism just reality!

You couldn't make this up.

3 out of our 4 back four weren't good enough last season and they all start the new season......

Piss poor.

this might do us a favour in terms of a reality check.
If Cooper thinks Baldwin is so good how about he put him on from the start?
I actually think Crewe will turn out to be a very good side this year, as will Swindon, which is why I was so worried about the start we have this season.

I was just wondering that. Perhaps if we did not have such a great keeper in this match we would be 8 down?

This is a f*ck*n joke.

Austin....gone so far backwards as a footballer it's not funny now.
Collins...past it
Horwood....as much as i like him isn't a defender

Hartley is the only one of the back 4 worth his place.

If anyone is seriously suggesting Flinders is the weak link in the back 5 you may as well not watch football again...full backs have been poor for a long time and will get exposed constantly, especially horwood as monkhouse is woeful also

He isnt 'the' weak link, he is one of 4.

On a par with Taffy Williams.
