The last time a Cooper season started away we won 4-3, the problem is we won't have four debutantes to score and it's going to be about 15 degrees cooler!

I'm sure we didn't have any debutantes playing for us last time. Hardly any young, posh, single women have ever been sent out to play for Pools in a bid to attract husbands with titles and plenty of cash. They usually went to some dances in London but nowadays I think they just take cocaine and go to overpriced nightclubs.

Some people take everything far too literally.

We won 4-3 3 times in coopers 1st season. At that time it was 100/1 in coral as a set price for each game. I decided I would follow it with a fiver. I have did it ever since, league and cup regardless of who we are playing. I have only missed 3 games. The 1st as fate would have it was southend at home on a Tuesday night. I'd finished work late and couldn't make the bookies. The score was 3-1 going into injury time and all was fine until 3 late goals made it 4-3. I'd Been doing the bet for around 5 years at the time and was sick as fuck. The next time i missed it was Brighton away in the fa cup, I was on the drink and forgot to place the bet. The score was 3-3 and I was bricking those final few minutes. The other was a 2-1 away win. During the Wilson ere I had a few 3-3 4-2 and was unlucky not to get the bet up. Peterboro away and huddesfield at home were absolute pisstakes. Both 5-3 with very late 5th goals. I can safely say I was the only poolie in attendance who didn't celebrate both goals. Porters was around 50 bastard yards!! I have to get the bet up 1 day. Iv stuck wih it and just can't not put it on. Skybet are around 150/1 or 200/1 most games these days.

That is a disgusting price even if it does come off.
