Alright lads.

Just wondering how ticket sales are going for the friendly against us, many of you going or what? I got my ticket for the away end yesterday and the office blokey said that we've sold 2,500ish so far. I know loads of other lads who're going as well but haven't bought theres yet. Hopefully, like last time it'll be a cracking night.

I'll be at the Swindon game on the opening day and hopefully a few more Pools games throughout the season when I can't get to our aways. Best of luck for the coming season, might be a bit optomistic but I'd be over the moon if you could reach play-offs or round about

Ta Mr KST. Can we have Ryan Noble back?

However, the away end only holds 1000, so I dunno where your man got his numbers from unless the ground's been thrown open and I'm not sure OB will allow that. I'll take advice from people who are better informed than me.

Sunderland have got the rink end & all the mill house side, so yes they could quite easily have sold 2500 tickets so far!!

Aye your right mate. The Rink end is sold out and we've got the Millhouse anarl. Millhouse terrace for me :-D

As for Noble, I hope he does go back on loan to Pools. He's an absolute goal machine for our reserves and looked promising in the couple of sub appearances he's made but he's probably not 9 stone wet through! Very lightweight, raw, and at his age he definitely needs exposure to some first team football. Hopefully we'll see more of our young lads out on loan to Championship/League 1 clubs as well, particulary Louis Laing (centre-half) and Billy Knott (left winger), who're both ones for the future without doubt, especially Laing.

I think in League 1, Waghorn would be without doubt one of the best strikers in the division. He looked very promising for us in the youths and reserves. Started aged 17 against Man.Utd on his full debut and definitely held his own!

He had a great loan spell out at Leicester but he was never gonna be near the starting line-up for us though when we sold him like, considering at the time we had Bent, Gyan, Welbeck and Campbell as our striking options. I'm not sure whether or not he'll be anything more than a Championship player as he seems to have tailed off slightly at Leicester but I think he has had injuries, but in League 1 I'd imagine he'd be able to score at least 20.

not being funny, but how much do you know about league 1 strikers to claim Waghorn would be the best?

He said he would be one of the best.

It's a bold claim but why do you feel the need to knock everything?

I am not trying to knock. I am just asking a question...if someone has an opinion is it really a knock to aks them to give the reasoning behind that opinion?

If I said England would win the World Cup in 2014 and you asked me why I thougt that would it be a knock?

Just my opinion mate. I don't see why he couldn't be a top League 1 striker. After all, in his first season for Leicester he scored 13 goals I think? And he played predominantly on the wing as well. I'll be honest, I don't really watch much League 1 football but from what I've seen of him I don't see why he couldn't be one of the best in the division.
