An easy 3 points next year surely?

the most shocking part of that article is not that ben haim is on 35k a week plus a £1m a year image rights bonus.... it's that kanu is still only 35!

There must be a good few clubs at risk of the same situation.

As we've said often, thank God for IOR. Are you watching HBC??

£35k and £10k a week in L1?

I know people think our players are on silly money but I'd be shocked if our whole squad and youth team were paid that much a week.

The last sentence is the damning bit

They are also in the hands of the Football League board, a group comprising eight people who will soon determine Portsmouth’s fate. Without their support, the next stop will be the Blue Square Bet South.

FA Cup Winners to Blue Square South in possibly 4-5 years. Didn't they win that Barclay's Asia trophy pre season thing in 2007 as well

the thing is, they had what 3 administrations in that time and i'm sure they bought Ben Haim after the first administration. It's criminal how the club was run and continued to spend beyond there means.

if they come out of Admin again, you watch they will start splashing the cash again rage

still looking forward t going there this year mind :uhoh: Definately one to take the missus for the weekend if you are interested in that sort of thing, Gunwharfe Quay is the 'dogs'

by rights, if it's good enough for Darlo and Rangers, then it's good enough for them. Enough's enough. Football clubs should be forced to realise they have no right to be competing in whatever league, and their fans do not have this right. It's supposed to be a competition whereby the best clubs in that season get their rewards, and not a vanity contest where clubs see it as their duty to spend beyond their means to preserve the illusion of this perceived "right"

And I do NOT feel sorry for the fans... they are the fuel for all these fires and they whinge like bitches when they find themselves in league one playing "the likes of" Pools etc

Fuck the fucking lot of them

couldn't have put it better... it doesn't matter what league Pools are in - they are my team and it's the team I will watch/support and that's it.

Anyway I thought you worked in IT systems MJ - or should I call you Raffles?
