We were never in for him. We have no need for a left back.

Our back five is pretty much settled. No need for a defender really. We have more pressing concerns in the centre of midfield and up front.

I would have said it's more the wings, to be honest Mr Mullet. Muzza seems like a decent spoiler, Sweeney was leading scorer last season and we've signed a decent winger already. There's James, Poole and Nish ( bbolt ) up top, maybe Noble coming back for a season and so just a decent right winger and there's plenty of cover from the young 'uns.

I dont think a left back isnt high on our priorities of players to sign so I wouldnt call that "reasonable" & a "certain signing" is only certain when he has actually signed on the dotted line!!

It wasn't anything like a certain signing , it wasn't even anything like a close signing, and as some people would say....fact

I don't know like, the Hartlepool Mail did say Cooper might be looking at possibly signing him. That means it is pretty much nailed on doesn't it?

Enough said on the topic then if the Hartlepool Mail reported it.

We should have kept our feet on the floor until we heard something more concrete. Now our hopes have been (pebble)dashed.
