You must have been on the ball with your payment.

Think sales are still in trickle mode rather than flying yet.

Nowhere near the buzz this year that there was last. Be suprised to see 3000 shifted.

Last year it died down massively at this point, once we sign a few players and the fixtures are released things will pick up

I blame the Richie Humphreys contract extension.

They are on sale aren't they, and at this stage last year they were as well but with much more publicity and buzz. I want it to succeed and I will be buying one although I will probably miss a fair few games but I just think after last season, where we got all them who thought "Yea I will give it a go" this season will not be anywhere near as successful as I'd guess 90% would think, I'm not going to endure that again. Us fans will get them, but them with minimal interest certainly won't.

I'll give you that, they ARE on-sale..but none of the Marketing or Push that made the sales so high last season has even begun. Watch This Space! :-D

Im still buying one even if it does come down to a strike partnership of Steve Howard and Ritchie Humphreys. £155 to keep me busy for 10 months will do me.........Also I sort of like Hartlepool United aswel!

Don't get me wrong, I would like nothing more than us to match last season but I am fairly certain we lost a large percentage of the people who are sort of semi into Pools due to the home performances. Hopefully the marketing ideas can negate some of that effect.

I know there's one hell of a Marketing Campaign to start fairly soon..it was good last year, I'm pretty sure this years will be equally inventive if not even better!

Will it involve another mill house related video?

I know it will involve a Video, Joe! The Club learned a lot of lessons "on the hoof" for last year's S/T Promotion..all of those lessons are going to be used for this year's big push.

Pools Fans are brilliant at getting behind good ideas...over the past decade we've got a song into the charts, sold 5700 season tickets in a few weeks and filled London with Smurfs gaining National News coverage. Couple this with getting the Mascot in as Mayor, Jeff Stelling etc and it's all heading in one direction.

Nah..not that I've heard. I think the signings this Summer will be a lot more solid and long-term than that, and that's just what I know of N.C.

Right, on the back of that I'm going straight down to renew mine when I get home on Thursday so I can come on here, be smug as feck and berate anyone who hasn't already bought /renewed, true fan etc etc.

The season ticket deal this year is ten times better than last year. All the conditions and caveats of last year meant it wasn't an enticing deal for so many until the club changed the conditions at the last minute.

There's no pressing urgency to get them, the season only finished a couple of weeks ago and I'd personally be happy with 4000. I'm waiitng till June for mine as I'm going in the Cyril Knowles and I can imagine others are waiting for a couple of paydays to pass before parting with their money- it's still a dear do if you're shelling out for a couple of kids too.

I think the club learnt a lot of from last season and on the playing front it was awful watching at times but we still finished mid-table. I don't think we need to spent a fortune to get us into a top 10/play-off push, just a handful of right signings in the right areas like the lad Franks appears to be. Players like Monky, Browny, Boyd and Humphreys all took up a lot of playing time last season with virtually no output, this already is going to be a lot different which can only be positive.

The fact that Itll be Neale Coopers first full season back in charge should be enough to sell plenty of season tickets if you ask me. He's a cracking manager and has already signed one very good player in Franks so I think its likely he's not finished yet.
