To put it into perspective, this is the equivalent of someone like Stoke or West Brom winning the premwhatsitship.
PSG (Paris Sans Gagner), the biggest spenders in the transfer market in Europe this season thanks to their Qatari (yes they haven't finished fooking us over) overlords, and Monty, who spent just 1.5 million euros.

Great to see a hard working side with no stars at the start of the season manage to achieve this. Nearly as unexpected as seeing Montpellier compared to Stoke.

Truly abysmal damp squib of an end to the season although it does save me from the boredom of Europa Cup group matches...

Feel very sorry for PeterleePoolie off here. He's visiting Toulouse and got in touch so I heartily recommended the match thinking TFC would stilll have something to play for. I also suggested he should turn up early to have pre-match merguez and beers on the river bank. The match was predictably awful and it pissed down last night.

Sorry about that Monsieur Peterlee.

Loulou vowed he'd get his hair cut in the "crête" style most of the team sport if MTP became champions, and he's a man who keeps his promises ... and he's even gone a step further by adding the club colours which aren't exactly sober. :laugh:

The last two days in town have been totally amazing, but for me the greatest scene of all was the Montpellier players getting in among the travelling fans after the game and singing with them.
