A question of scale with me. I don't like Boro but I detest Man Utd, so while I am happy to see Boro get knocked out, I wanted them to win, and then lose to Watford.

I was thinking to myself, I actually want Boro to win. I was almost ashamed until I realised how much I'm hating the top 4 teams. I still hate Newcastle the most though because they want to be like the top 4 and show the same arrogance.

It's not the top four for me, not yet. Just three of them, with Chelsea exempt for the time being. But their time will come I'm sure :evil:

The moment Benitez, Mourinho and Wenger all called for reserve teams to be played in the FL is the moment those 3 cemented my hatred for them.

let's be honest, if Man U win so what, they do win things sadly. HOWEVER..if the boro won, we'd never hear the last of it...never!! Local radio and TV would be like a post nuclear attack..unusable for years afterwareds due to the fallout! :evil:
