From the BBC site, talking about Yeovil failing to sign players permanently...

Both Franks and Grounds, who have been on loan with the club since March, had previously hinted their time with Boro was coming to an end and had expressed a desire to stay with the Glovers.

But Johnson revealed: "With Jonathan Franks I have had several conversations with his agent, but we have ended up bitterly disappointed that when it came down to the final decision necessary to agree on a new contract, he became unavailable.

"In the case of Jonathan Grounds we guessed that his partner having just given birth to a son he would be anxious to stay based in the North and that is what has happened."

Cooper has commented on these two during the season. hmmm.

Can't see us being interested in Grounds if we have retained Horwood. Franks seems a decent player.

They obviously did a decent job at Yeovil and our location can sometimes be an advantage. Get round there with a pen and offer their Mams a fiver- it worked for Watty Moore.

Yeovil fans are desperate to keep both of them so they must be alright. A friend of mine who is a Middlesbrough fan says he was surprised the lad Franks didn't get more game time at the Riverside. Pacy and sounds like exactly what we need. Plus anything that annoys Gary Johnson is a bonus.

Grounds is a centre back yes. Been talking to a Boro fan today who said Franks has amazing pace as Phil said and he's one of the players the fans have always wanted to see given a chance but it doesnt seem to of happened.

Scored a couple of goals from defence too whilst on loan, would be worth his weight in gold to us to have a defender who can get 7 or 8 goals from set pieces etc. Thats why I cant see him coming here unfortunately, will be on the radar of bigger clubs than us. Grounds got a goal too, unfortunately an own goal, we may be able to get him.

Is he ? thought he was a defender, ok even better as we need a winger and the feeling is our defence is not in need of repair, where it says /defencedefender just add midfield/winger. Thanks for keeping me right Mr B

Gary Johnson is a full weight twat. I wouldn't work for him either. It's amazing how many poor managers have got jobs in this league now. It can only bode well for us I think. clappp

A reply?

Ok.

How about a dictionary definition rather than just what you think the word means;
"suggesting or indicating that something bad is going to happen or be revealed"

Will that do you? stpid
