5-2 home defeat back in 87 when less than 2000 were at game and add to the fact there was hell on all day as well...shite moment

good moment DSCF 7-0 john borthwick (4 goals or was it 3?) pre-season 1986 have some of that.

all other draws and victories are clear good uns

the two games allon won
mutries only contribution to the club except our bill for cortisone
chris lynch's hammer
fitz and shilts
and the 4-1 mentioned in a prev post

Worst - that 4-0 when they got relegated was hard to take, Bennyworth never kicked another ball for Pools after half time of that game. Another sad thing to happen that day.
The 5-2 home defeat when we were actually leading 2-1
That 5-2 away defeat when we were actually leading 2-0   :uhoh:
Play-offs both legs, goes without saying really

Best - Durham Senior Cup Final won 7-0 rolfl
90/91 Joe Joe Joe scoring the only goal
96/97 that safety-clinching 2-1 with Joe Joe Joe scoring the winner in the last minute
02/03 the 4-1 battering to go top of the League was very sweet indeed

I still rate Colletts two displays against us as up their with the best performance by a goalkeeper I've ever seen. Some of the saves he made on both of those days were miraculous.
