No sign yet of the three or four signings that we were hoping to have this week

I can't say I expected many to be honest, before the last home game Mr Hodcroft spent part of his programme notes slamming the emergency loan system and teams exploiting it, and he's stated in the past that he isn't a fan of the loan system full stop, so it would be a quick turnaround for us to make three or four loan signings in a week, when in reality we have nothing to play for.

It may also mean we have a few players back for Saturday/Tuesday.

Cooper said he hoped to have liddle and poole back this week.

I think he will give the youth a chance instead of going for loans, cooper has accepted play offs is out of the question and highly unlikely we will be in a relegation battle.

TO me that read like a diplomatic version of KH has told him he can't have any loan players because we're too many points away from the 6th spot, or at least not the 3 or 4 that he was hoping for but maybe 1 or 2 if he's dead lucky.

Collins back quicker than expected too by all accounts.

We appear to have some superb young players coming through.................so why the foook would the club waste money with loan signings now?

We arent going up, and we arent going down. Coops should just spend the rest of this season gauging who IS good enough for next season.

Might be worth getting a player on loan with a view to signing him for next season. Adam Reed from Sunderland went to Brentford on loan, by all accounts a hard tackling midfielder . Suppose we could see how he gets on at Brentford then make a move close season if any good.
