Tend to agree it's not as if they've been relegated today

I would have linked to PJ's avatar on Uncovered, he used that Darlo fans photo for it, but unfortunately he's banned on there.

I think he's a bit long in the tooth for that.

All the premiership clubs, managers and fans will be crying if Sky's licence is revoked, which is a strong possibility after the Murdoch/News international fiasco.
I think I'd rather see that.

in fact, I hope Platini DOES get his way and reins in the wealth of the English premier league. A fairer competition will ensue here for starters, and that's all I care about. If all the best players fuck off abroad , who cares? The English game was far more competitive in those days with a lot less money flying around. I hope it becomes fuck all, with no fucker interested in it except people here. I hope the Russian league becomes the world's favourite, or the Spanish league - let's make ours as weak as piss I say.. Bring the enjoyment back of lower quality, but the chance of another Forest or Derby or Wimbledon

Not a hope in hell that will happen. Money talks and they have more of it than anyone else.

And while we are at it how about making the England Managers job and players expenses only? Never mind paying £6 million quid a year for what is a part time job. Put the money into grass-roots football instead - give the game back to the people!

In a way your a little late on part of that. England players donate their match fees to charity, and have done for a few years now.

To be fair I believe that the players donate all of the money they get for being picked for England to charity.

As for the manager's job, I don't think that you could expect somebody to do it for nowt (or if you did you'd get what you paid for) but I do think that the salary they've been paying recently is way too much.

He's obviously in a certain position, bent over, so just maybe it has nothing to do with the game and something is hurting more than Swansea scoring.

Six Million quid a year is obscene for watching a few football matches a week and a few team talks here and there. How much have we paid Fabio? About £20 million in total and what have we got in return? FA - and I dont mean Football Association!
