For those planning on going to the Charlton match, they are currently offering adult ticket to home fans for £10, with over 60's and under 21's just a fiver.

However, the offer finishes at the end of March and so i'm unsure if it will be offered to away fans.

I've just emailed Charlton so let's wait and see what they say but if they are withdrawing the offer at the end of this month, I reckon it's so they can charge us top whack refred

Addicks make new Hart-felt ticket offer
Posted on: Mon 27 Feb 2012

Matt Wright reports

The Valley welcomed its biggest crowd of the season on Saturday as the Addicks opened up a 10-point lead at the top of League One.

Stevenage were defeated 2-0 in front of a crowd of 26,546 thanks to the Football for a Fiver initiative that saw all match tickets reduced to just £5.

Now the club has announced another special deal, for the final fixture of the season against Hartlepool United, on Saturday, May 5th.

Tickets for what the club hopes will be its last League One fixture for the time being will go on general sale at 9am on Thursday at the special price of £10 adults, and £5 over 60s and U21s.

However, fans are advised to buy during March to secure these prices, as the offer will be withdrawn on the last day of the month.

See what the response is. If they ignore it, maybe all buy our tickets for their stands, and all turn up and say "ooops i bought my ticket for the wrong stand"

Wonder if they will move us into the away section anyway

Thought this statement was a little strange, sounds a little pessimistic, are they expecting to be relegated again? You would think they would just leave it as 'last league one fixture'!

Rules state thay can't charge more than they charge home fans for the equivalent seating so they can stop the offer when they sell home ends out bar one seat. Then charge whatever they charging Pools fans for that one seat.

They charged us more last season than some home fans paid but used the excuse that our price was the equivalent to what some home fans were paying.

We charge £4.35 a game for fans to seat based on season tickets they don't charge away fans the same. We say it's £25 on day to sit in any seat available so charge away fans that price.

Im sure there was a club who requested that at the start of this season but it was rejected.

Just phoned Charlton ticket office. They haven't made a decision about away tickets as yet but she thought they would be sorting it out towards end of next week and tickets would be available from Pools after then. Unfortunately she wouldn't commit as to the prices they would charge.

I e-mailed them last week and they said that the offer did not apply to away fans who would be charged normal prices. Thought I'd told Mr Chessington that!
