Can only presume Coops doesn't feel Browny can play twice in 3 days? Can't see why else he would drop him.

Looks like

Sweeney Murray Baldwin Monky

Humpty Poole

or Poole on the right and Richie on his own upfront.

To be honest I don't really know.

The fact is we don't have many striking options.

New lad is crocked
Cooper doesn't seem to be fussed on Nish
Boydy doesn't give a fck
I'm not even sure I would have started Poole after the way he played on Saturday.

What i mean is if he is rested he shouldnt be on the bench. If he is on the bench then he will be expected to play. And if so why dosent he start and " rested "in the second half if he needs to be. If he is not to take part at all why have him on the bench in the first place.

I actually think I'd rather see Richie upfront than either Boyd or Nish.

Given I'm not really Richie's biggest fan, it speaks volumes on what I think of the other two!

Who else is there? It's not like we have an abundance on players that he's depriving a subs place for.

I'd rather have Browny coming on for the last 20 minutes if we're 1-0 down than anyone else. Makes sense to me.

What Humphrey's has done pretty well the odd time he has played up front in the last couple of years is hold the ball up well. I'd say to play as a lone striker you need to be able to hold it up or be really mobile and be prepared to get kicked like James. I don't think either Boyd or Nish really fit the bill in that regard.

Nish is a strange one because you'd have thought he had the chance of a fresh start under Cooper but thinking about it he's one of the few players that Cooper probably had a pre conceived idea about and some knowledge. I'm pretty sure he doesn't rate him!

I think that Cooper has simply picked Ritchie to send a message to those two. I think Boydy has a chance, he still has talent but needs to show a lot more effort than he did on Saturday. I get the impression that Coopers opinion in Nish is not much higher than his opinion of Marcus Richardson. I can't see him playing much in future.....

I'd agree with that; I saw him at Watford and did a decent job there.

Mr I can we set up a "waste of electricity" forum and then some can just post straight to it and stop wasting electricity.

Oh! there is a flaw in my theory... lets call it a "waste of time" forum.

This is the Todays team/Match thread.

Humphreys losing possession in the middle = team now losing. For someone who holds the ball up as some have said, all the evidence seems to point to the contrary!!!

yes he lost possession at one end of the pitch and then somebody scored from outside the box at the other end with quite a lot of play in between. I dont see what your point is
