downloading torrent things

I download em, save into documents, try to play em and it wont have it...what am I doing wrong????

Best thing i bought is a cyclone multimedia box you can get them off ebay for about £20 and i transfer my film onto a stick and put it in that which is plugged into the tv via a hdmi lead and watch it on the tv. It takes no more than 2 minutes to do and saves all that burning onto disks :wink:

What kind of file is it?

Use VLC media player (it's free), that'll play anything.

You probably just need to update the codecs.

Select 'installer package'

As MJ says, are you downloading just the torrent or are you loading the torrent into uTorrent for downloading?

How big is the file you are trying to play? (Right click on it then select properties)

Also you may need to download Winrar for some things . If they download as a load of .rar files. Install winrar, select all of the .rar files, right click and select "extract here"

Typically 90% of what I download comes down in the form of .rar files.
