Yep, so the fact his mum and dad love him is probably true as there's no real harm in him being in some bedsit or whatever shit hole he frequented.

A bit sad really - Going by conversations I had with him I don't think Eddie was thick. Just a case of making bad bad choices and abusing substances. I never found him to be a nuisence but can understand why most people were very wary of him.

In the Boro, there are 48 at the hostel where I work, 66 on the waiting list to get in, 18 at the neighbouring hostel.
There are more joining the waiting list daily, ranging from prison leavers, broken homes, violent relationships etc, it`s a real eye opener and you wouldn`t believe some of them would be homeless by looking at them, there are some really nice people amongst them!
