Do you require a lift to Stockport on Saturday?

which route do you boys recommend to Stockport.
J23a => A50 => A6 or M6 and then where.

I always go up to M1 to J28, go through the outskirts of Chesterfield, then through Baslow, Chapel en-le-Frith, and into Stockport. Can't remember the names of the roads.

Nice and scenic, plus you avoid all the congestion on the west side of Manchester.
