"We're up to 3,700. It sounds like Hartlepool have sold out of their 3,000 and are screaming for more now.

I have received numerous calls asking if we are going to give extra allocation to Hartlepool. It is highly probable that we will issue them with a further 500 and we will re-assess the situation once we have given our fans every chance to buy a ticket."

They've had every opportunity to buy tickets over the last few weeks.

Give us more tickets....says the bloke with no ticket and only two stubs.....

If you want me to get you a ticket then post your stubs up and I'll pop down.

Or has your missus put a stop on away games?!  rolfl

At the end of the day the match is still 12 days away so nobody is rushing. A fair few fans will be thinking they can get the Poolie ticket at the Hereford match on Saturday.

Like Sotnick says, it won't become clearer until the weekend.

How many do you honestly think you'll shift on Saturday though? You're only getting 2500-300 at home and you claim to have sold 3700 so do you really expect to sell many on Saturday?

Quakerz, is there any effort made to confirm the identity of those buying tickets for the home sections? If not, then withholding tickets from a section where demand outweighs supply while retaining a large number of tickets for people who might, on the off-chance, maybe, get around to buying a ticket some time in the next 7 days, is asking for trouble don't you think?

I can answer that. When i bought my 4 tickets and parking permit I wasn't asked to verify anything, despite my silvery accent. I was wearing a Canvey Island fleece which hid my Darlo top.

Ha, ha! Funny guy, Taxpayer, eh? We'll discuss this further at Stockport on Saturday! refyellow

I'm hoping to get a ticket but don't have the stubs as I've passed em to someone up there to try to sort me ticket. Am quietly confident taht I'll manage to get one.

Sarf has confirmed what I thought and what lots of other people have been thinking - why not get a ticket for a darlo area if all the Pools ones are sold. In all seriousness this shows an astonishing disregard for safety by darlo FC.

What time do you get in on Saturday?

Ours is due in at 12.42 and my old man gets in at 12.33

Despite recent crap attendances I'm pretty confident that we'll shift about 6,000.......thats if the club don't lose patience waiting and give Pools all the spare tickets.

Whether we sell 4,000, 5,000 or 6,000 I can guarantee that the messageboard will be full of people moaning that they couldn't get a ticket and having a go at our board for giving the Poolies too many.

Typical Darlo fans, perfect excuse not to go is that they couldn't get a ticket. Take that excuse out of the equation and it'll be the cost. Take that excuse out and it'll be the inconvenience of having to go twice, or thae fact it is on Sunday and they go to their mams for dinner.

Arseholes.

Surely you can't realistically think you are going to sell another 2300 tickets between now and close of play on Saturday?

So if it's our Cup Final not yours, how come you expect to double your attendance, when we'll only bring 2/3rds of our last home gate??

If it's not an impertinent question??

Not by Saturday evening no. But by the end of next week yes.

Crowds have tailed off in recent months, but with it being a derby then we can scrape together 6,000. We got a crowd of 7,000 vs Rochdale on Boxing Day a couple of years ago, so it can be done.

Lets face it, Poolies sold about 6,700ish for the corresponding fixture, so if we can't muster 6,000, I'd die of embarassment.

I am working.

I'm working at winding you lot up!!

And doing it rather well even if I say so myself!! :sweeeet: :sweeeet:

I suppose you might get another 3000 over and above your rather thin usual turnout when the league leaders come to show how it's done. rolfl

Have we sold our 3k then cause I've read nothing on the Hartlepool site saying so, but the Darlow sites suggests we have.

I know I wasn't there, was in Dublin at the time, and the room didn't have Sky, and no bar was interested in watching a youth team match on their sets. rage
