one thing I'd be very surprised about, is if DNO would be prepared to sink the amount of money needed into another football club with the amount of debt SW has - and it wouldn't stop there. The supporters would then demand multi-million pound deals for top players, with each player (plus whatever agent's fees etc) getting daft amount of money for at least three years, when traditionally the owners here have been loathe to grant more than one year rolling contracts. Everything they would have to do there just would not fit alongside the perceived current way our owners operate. It would be a very radical change in operation. Also they completely own HUFC, I would doubt they would have such complete control of SWFC.

That's exactly why I'm dubious.... if their fans even get a whiff of money coming into the club they'll be expecting to be back where they belong  .....

The time to be asking questions is when the money dries up ...until then my inquisitive nature can be easily subdued

aye fair point, but as i think i said elsewhere this larsson fella is absolutely minted.lets face it someone has pished 6 million into pools without there being a hope in hell of them seeing a return on their investment. there isnt even mention of pools on the dno website.

and of course nobody actually knows who owns pools anyway. officially we are owned by ior, the company set up by hodcroft, whose managing director is hodcroft, which has no shareholders, other than hodcroft, and which is based in aberdeen. nobody has ever suggester that berge larsson has any investment in pools other than a couple of jounos.

remeber when i tried raising this debate earlier in the season. someone posting under the name of the linighan sisters came on the board and said the money invested in pools was hodcrofts. when i suggested that the amounts involved seemed out of kens league, this poster was adamant he had the money and if we didnt shut up he would not be best pleased.

the linighan sisters vanished as miraculously as they had appeared and were never heard of again. we all assumed it was a nom de plume adopted by someone within the club, who had dropped in to warn us all not to dig too deeply into the clubs financial backing.

does anyone have any evidence whatsoever to prove we are owned by the norwegian or that he has a vested interest in the club ?

some good points chip - but deep down you know we are owned by the norwegians - if he/they want anonymity then thats up to them.

the publicity around this may help us out in the end

Can I refer you to an earlier post...

Well my nephew plays for Blyth and they have had several (and stillhave) poolies on their books so it neccesarily follows that pools are taking over blyth, however, peter beardsley is at the vic next week which (obviously ) means pools are taking over at St James...

But there again I seen Viv Anderson at [pools last night so then, that means,...Peter Beardsley and Viv Anderson are in talks to host a dance off between blyth spartans and boro with the final at Hillsborough

I get it now

Yep its obvious

newcastle will take over synthonia but (and here is the clever bit) No one will realise ! Pools will still be brill and the rest shyte

Oh and the Wendies?

Buried deep inside the bosom of a Dolly Parton Tit W@ank

Isn't drink brill

Can\i have a job in the mail?

And his name is Berge Larsen, not Berger Larsson. If journalists can't even get the basic facts right how can you believe any of the other sh*te they write.

When teams like pools are involved there is usually no smoke without fire. The Daily Mail (national) were the story origionated may be inaccurate on a couple of scores but they aren't going to make something up completely are they?

Like everyone else I hope Mr Hodcroft and Mr Larssen stick around at Pools because i'm actually quite fond of them.
