He's had a bit of stick but by all accounts the kids that he had the balls to blood look class acts. Why do you reckon were Turner and Wilson so anti youth?

because neither were tracksuit managers, and didn't see the young 'uns train and play regularly ? because they were overly cautious ?

think its a bit easy to criticise managers who don't promote youth, but the pressure to succeed even at our level means that they felt they had to play it safe. maybe barron had been pushing for the two lads to start under wadsworth, and figured he had nothing lose as he knew he wasn't getting the job full-time.

he may just have done the club a huge service by getting jack and luke involved now.

I've no doubt that Neale Cooper will give these young 'uns a huge chance. Next through will be young Snaith.

I would have thought it a fundamental requirement for any manager at League 1 level to be a tracksuit manager. They should be immensley knowledgable about every player at the club (full pro and youth).

I thought he might get a look in as well, we'll see how he fares I reckon, but the other two are coming back as well, so Cooper will no doubt have a look and see what's what with Poole apparently out for a spell.
