Maggie had 11 years in the chair.

Tony boy is on 10 now.

Thatcher crushed the unions.

Blair opened the borders.

Most popular?

it doesnt matter who you vote for the government always gets in.

blair is a lying cheat with skeletons galore in his cupboard and therefore untrustworthy.

thatcher is history - why worry man she's nearly dead and did a good job in a difficult time of transition for this country.

dont like her mind

and might I add, when I left school all there was Youth Opportunity Programmes (replaced a year later by YTS) steelworks shutting down, and queues for the dole office. Thatcher only looked after her own, must be the most hated Prime Minister ever, well from people in these parts rage

he may be a cock, and a lot of the work was done by other people, and he dragged us into pointless wars and sanctioned carpet bombing civilians, but i think history will look favourably on him.

But aren't low inflation, low interest rates and low unemployment staples of Keynesian economics?? As practiced by................M****** T*****??

And didn't she inherit high inflation, interest rates and unemployment from Geoffrey Callaghan??

So Tony does what Maggie did and he's a bleedin hero.

Except Maggie didn't tax us at about 50% and give it all to idle baby factories.

Long live the Republic.

And I would argue the same about the falklands. Another pointless exercise.

How do you justify that statement? British people in British soverign territory had been invaded by a regime who had recently killed 30'000 of its own people. The abuses of the Islanders were real - want some examples? you'll be horrified at some of the stories I can tell you about the abuse of children by the Argentines.

British forces went to the islands and ejected the armed agressor. Is this not why we have an armed force? who else could they turn to ?

Never thought I'd see that name written out in full without a dozen expletives and I'm not talking about Blair. Pure scum, I hope she/it drowns in her own mucus.

This is a little something that we mustered up. It starts slowly but it's worth sticking with as the 2nd page is full of vicious in-fighting and venomous personal attacks.....

Errmmm, that was me that....... :uhoh:

Wasn't the slogan 'Labour Isn't Working 'cos there was 3 mill on the rock'n'roll?? Interest at about 17%?? Inflation in double figs??

Admittedly it went higher before it went lower but there was a trend to break.

Yeah but they are singularly useless at it.

It does make me laugh when they posture at China, and China yawns, stretches and spends another billion on 'defence.'

rolfl

the only reason blair is viewed as a success is the man next door to him's bookeeping - externally pleasing to the hoi polloi - but extortionate and a bastard to the hard working, nice house owning, driver.

'we' rebelled against the poll tax but how much sense does it make now when we have an absofuckinlutely ridiuclously high level of council tax - do you know how much it has increased over since blair took control - a lot to do with local control of course, but they still have to apply the doctrines laid down by whitehall.

i could go on all day but coffee, iron, dump, shower needed followed by a brisk 23 minute walk to work. could well be 25 today mind - suffering a tad.
