never even give it a thought until recently but my dad is now wheelchair bound and has been using the disabled enclosure at the vic and from a good half of it you can't see half the pitch, its fine for the town end half but he misses the goals at the rink end.
I have written a letter to the club, not a whinge just pointing it out like. I hope you never have to use it and all that but I reckon it could be improved?

It's an awful lot better than some of its predecessors at the Vic.

The view is not helped by the dimwit stewards who seem to congregate in front of it rage

Was that the one in the corner of the Mill House/Rink End?

Lawrence could often be seen 'running the line' in those days!

in the footy museum in preston there was a full room dedicated to one palace lad who was wheelie bound and some of the views he got from top grounds was shite.

at newcastle tho he was up a height and had a quality view.

Now i know all grounds dont have lifts like nufc but i agree with the stewards gettjng out of the ferkin way

The problem with the disabled area for the home fans are. 1. it is at ground level and at the side of the ground. 2. there are steps that restrict the view as well as barriers. If you have noticed yellow lines are painted on the ground to restrict people standing in certain areas to stop people from being in front of the disabled area, but at times this doesn't work either. I know many people in this position and it is very frustrating for them. Thew away end is much better as that is raised and no one walks past them and they can see all the parts of the ground.
