arrogant bunch of w-ank-ers. If you pull them up about their arrogance, the ONLY thing they seem to reply with is "Northern c-u-nt "etc. in a very patronising "how can a northerner possibly or dare have anything to say to us" attitude. Pricks to a man.Talk about stereotyping, they just don't see the irony do they? I hate them now, big style, I would love to see them stuck in this division for the next ten years. Or better still, get relegated and replaced by Oxford at some point. I would enjoy that.

Couldn't agree more. You try and have a sensible conversation and all you get is stereotyped abuse.....from people from Swindon!!!

It's not looking good for them at the moment which obviously no-one would want to see.......

Sturrock was so impressed with their performance at Stockport he picked the full first team for a reserve game at Bristol Rovers on Monday but the game was postponed. Confidence must be high rolfl rolfl

We spoke to a Stockport fan in the pub before our game against them he was ok, just got a bit carried away with how many fans they take away. And they weren;t the most friendliest bunch when we left the ground considering we were 2 women refred

Stockport is about eighty miles due south, then about fifty miles due west from us. They are southerners to me!!!!!!

I really hope we never ever play Swindon again. It is the most boring town I've ever been to. When we played there a few years ago on the last day of the season me and our lass stopped over.

We went into Swindon town centre at night, and it was sleep-inducingly boring. I can't remember where we went or anything, it was that mediocre. Everybody had a glazed look in their eyes, you couldn't have any banter with any of them, and nobody seemed to get drunk.

And those fecking roundabouts! Some senior town planner obviously used to like thrapping his old chap over drawings of the things, there's that many of them. This season I got cut up about 4 times on the way out of the town by local yokels trying to race me into the lane they wanted to be in, despite me following the arrow road markings. I'm not a violent type, but I was close to starting on one bloke.

And unless you come in off the motorway it's a pig to get to by car. Tractors, slow lorries, villages with speed bumps in them, sheep on the road etc.

It's a shame really as Wiltshire is one of the most interesting counties in Britain in terms of Stonehenge, Avebury, and all the other ancient monuments.

So, in a nutshell, I don't like Swindon. I hope they get relegated or fold as Parmo suggests, and I never have to go there for any reason.

That's because everyone goes to the old town! I don't mind the place - I mate used to live there and I know a Swindon fan (also frequently watches Walsall - he lives in Brum as well) who's a decent bloke.
