But why single out one player, who was by no means the sole reason we got beat. Seems he is an easy scapegoat when in fact he was one of the better players in blue and white.

Nish had a decent game today, he wad tidy every time the ball came into feet and put in a decent shift.

I'd challenge anyone to play well and stand out up front at home for Pools at the moment. I've watched 180 minutes of football at home this week and our only shot on target was on the first minute of that.

Mr Mutley - Colin had an improved game without ever looking like causing a real problem but our best player was Paul Murray who was the only one who seemed able to keep the ball or use it wisely. He was the only one with a real presence.......

That is exactly what i said in the town end today to the nish abusers.

Watch the passes that he's getting and tell me what the feck he's supposed to do with that type of service, ballooned up to his head, every single bloody time, not once do we give it to his feet, and then run off him for the lay off.

I'm not saying he's blameless, i'm not saying he's even brilliant, but he works hard feeding off some of the worst service we've ever given to a striker.

Not once did austin get the ball down, play it to poole, look to run off him, play nish in too his feet, or boyd for that matter.

It's just shit football, really really basic stuff that's being done so wrong.
