Was their former Chairman on the white stuff when he built the ground. I've never seen anything like it in 20 years off football , a big Stadium and empty. The home fans do not sing and we even got no abuse when we left as well

I just hope to god we do not have to go there next season

Aye, he envisioned breaking new boundaries in five years.

They did, he got three years inside and they reached new heights of mediocrity.

Funny as from here like.........

I thought about this long and hard the other day. If Pools EVER built a stadium comparable to that, I would stop going. It would be embarrassing. Delusions of grandeur is one thing, but that situation is tragic (even though it's THEM). I much prefer a bouncing, full Victoria Ground (I know I'm biased), but Feethams was their spiritual home and if you asked them all, I'm willing to bet 99% of them would have it back tomorrow if they could.

you know what........I believe some, a lot, of them are soooo deluded they actually wouldnt go back to feethams.

They love their stadium. Dont let them make you think otherwise.

On a personal level, I would hate my match day experience to consist of having to drive almost out of town, and then have to drink inside the stadium, without being able to go to a pub full of footy fans first.

This stadium, is everything that is wrong with football today. They arent alone either.

Many premiership clubs have done the samwe thing. OK, they fill theirs, but the match day experience is still shiit.

and the last premiership match you went to was?................

Sorry we didn't endanger your life or anything. I'll take up your complaint with Hutchy at the next home game. I will also arange a hearing test for you as you are obviously deaf. Hope you enjoy the Leeds experience next season. rage

Only thing I could hear was the drum, I hate drums at football

Stewards were a bit jobs worth, Had to stop someone going to wade into one :uhoh:

The Bar was nice though and the food apart from a couple of HUGE blokes who seemed intent on trying to cause trouble

Arrgh but did you experience the H'escalators.
Just seen Chelski, Fulham and the Arse. Soul less. Sarf even the East stand Highbury facade has more life than them and I reckon the "comb over dome" will be worse.
AND you were born near Victoria Park?
