He's fookin AWFUL, a parody of the real Bob Dylan. He's also PIG IGNORANT, which is why I stopped going to see Van The Man 15 years ago.

Al;so, the shitty re-hashing of old material into unrecogniseable "new versions" of songs is terrible.

Dylan died after Street Legal in 78.

Maybe, just maybe this is his reincarnation. We will see as we go to see him with an open mind. :sweet:

Last time I saw him was Finsbury Park at the Fleadh, maybe three years ago. They set the stage up for him and he ambled on (Ronnie Wood on guitar - cool!!) and instead of going up front and centre he went and started playing this (looked like) Bontempi organ and singing down a mic they hadn't even soundchecked somewhere over stage right. Shambles.

No-one knew what the song was either so therefore it didn't matter.

No grey areas with him, he's either inspired or crap. I've seen him four times and only once was he any good. Then he was brilliant.

That sounds like a perfect description of a Mark E Smith / Fall gig I went to.

I just love it when they wanna do their new experimental rambling stuff when if the truth be known 98% of the paying customers want to hear those nasty 'hits' that made them famous in the first place.

Well it sounds like we're all agreed that Dylan is shite live.

I have only seen him once and not just at any old concert.
At the Isle of Wight '69, after about three songs people were breaking the barriers down to get out early and be first on the ferry. I kid you not!
The only saving grace was his backing group - a relatively unknown outfit called the Band.

Yes I did. The bastad nicked my joss tick while I was looking up the girls' skirts as they weaved their way through the crowd.
