I've just made 'er indoors a cup of tea. nettle tea was requested as the preferred option without milk or sugar. Surely this is just an extremely odd drink and definitely very wrong?

Sounds as bad as the green tea er-indoors drinks.

Give me PG anytime as strong as you can stand a spoon up in the cup.

I wouldn't fancy drinking nettles. It would be an ideal opportunity to use the phrase "you've got a face like a bulldog licking piss from a nettle," mind you.

Next time make a proper cup of tea then ...some nice indian chai (milky with some spices - cinnamon, cardomon, ginger, black pepper all ground to a fine power, gives it a kick) instead of the watery English stuff.

Anyone tried it?

I have, makes a nice change every now and again - only problem is that to get the best of it you have to add loads of sugar.....

Tesco where I am have some "Instant Chai" sachets, avoid them like the plague - I tried one and the smell turned my stomach! Stick to proper tea. I personally prefer Clipper's version of it to Twinings, but I've heard it said there's as many variations of the Chai recipe as there are people that mix it.
