Is there ANYTHING better than the sweet, perfect taste of a Parsnip on yer Sunday Dinner?

3 points on Friday night, followed by a few pints & an "early night"

That would do it for me anyway

Parsnips are over-rated. Roast potatoes and sprouts are the Quakerz choice.

My mate said that sprouts taste like farts, and farts smell like sprouts.

That was our tea yesterday. Put in oven as we left the house at 1:30, done to perfection when we got in, boiled up some potatoes and mixed veg. 5 very happy people at 6:00pm.

Today Pork Chops, Yorkshire Puddings, carrots & turnip, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, stuffing balls and potatoes. sweet.

The 60 mile round trip to Northallerton and back, for a u15 football match postponed by the referee, because he would be responsible if anybody got hurt on a 'flooded' pitch. Not so sweet.
