I bought a basic 5 tier shelf from B and Q I put one together myself in about half an hour.2 hours later and he's still at it!!, no one can help or talk to him.

men eh? can't live with em can't shoot em!! :evil:

I'm hopeless at DIY. I can put a curtain rail or a shelf up but I cant guarantee it will stay there. Plus I'm bound to get really angry doing it.
Still, I'm sure there's men about who are very handy so no need to stereotype hey girls? :grin:

Aha, a closet arsonist......I always did think you sounded a bit dodgy, Saigon.
As for stereotyping.....who, us? I don't mind at all my husband doing the dinner, I'd just like the odd book shelf as well!

Because when we're trying to do some DiY there's usually a woman stood behind us making daft unhelpful comments and it's the best way to shut them up quickly.

a specialist panel pin hammer to gently tap the drive did the job

all wireless, pc moved mrs happy and apparently i will be later on clappp

I offered to help but told me no, can only walk away and laugh in those circumstances. ohh and he's given up with it now, but at least his dvds are now on a new shelf in alphabetical order rage
