Charlie Williams the black comedian from the '70's best known for fronting The Golden Shot (after Bob Monkhouse had moved on) passed away yesterday!

If I'm not mistaking I think he may have also played professional football for Doncaster Rover?

Charlie was aked once if he was a good player ( he was a centre half), and replied that he wasn't, but could stop the ones who were. :laugh:
