Been making up my own pools chants

He's name's Nobby Solano and he comes from peru,
scoring goals for hartlepool thats what he's came to do,
playing on the wing he looks like a king,

he's a top striker for Hartlepool E I E I O,
with a screamer here and a header there,
here a goal there a goal everywhere a good goal,

You put them tackles in and keep the opposition out,
keep the out keep them out that's what your all about,
you score a goal now and then to turn the score around,
and that's what your all about,

They don't rhyme here....
They don't rhyme there ....
I'd rather set fire to my pubic hair,
Football chants drive me insane ...... E I E I O.

or, the politically correct version, to the tune of 'I'm forever blowing bubbles....'

I've made up another chant now,
for us all to sing along,
wishful desires, heavenly choirs,
all will combine, to engender unrealistic aspirational needs that in all likeliehood won't be fulfilled and lead to questions and counter questions over team selection.

I'm trying to compress the final line....

'Made-up' chants are the work of Satan. They make my skin crawl with cringe, and remind me way too much of those toe-curling efforts of that Darloid the season they crashed out of the League into oblivion.

One poor sap, ironically named Darloontheup :uhoh:

penned an Anti-Pools ditty to the tune of O-bla-di-o-Bla-Da, proposing that both of their fans print of lyric sheets, and perform it on the terrace as they wipe the floor with us. stpid
